Welcome to the Mad Bus, the Mad River Valley's public bus service. The Mad Bus is here to help you travel around the Valley, from Moretown to Warren, whether you are going to work, running errands, or Shopping in Waitsfield or Warren. Mad River Valley residents know the benefits of letting the Mad Bus do the driving. Parents enjoy new-found freedom when their kids take the bus to sports games. Seniors know that the Mad Bus goes where they need to go. And visitors to the Valley find that they can enjoy the sights and events of the Valley by letting the Mad bus do the navigating.

The Mad Bus is easy to use. You can wait for the bus at any bus stop in the Valley, or wave the driver down while standing in a safe location along any route. Hop aboard and let us do the driving!

Traveling around the Valley this winter?

Plan on parking your car and taking the bus! The Mad Bus offers residents and visitors 7 public transportation routes in the winter season, connecting Sugarbush with Mad River Glen and the towns of Warren, Waitsfield and Fayston.

All Mad Bus routes, except the Snow Cap Commuter, will deviate upon request.  Please call 496-RIDE 24 hours in advance to request a deviation.
