Bus Service

All GMTA buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts and one or two wheelchair tie-down spaces. If you need to use the wheelchair lift to ride the bus, the driver will assist you.  

Route Deviations

Montpelier and Barre Hospital Hill buses will travel off their fixed route up to 3/4 of a mile in either direction on request. These deviations cost an extra $1.00 and only 2 will be allowed per hour. Passengers are to call 223-7BUS (7287) to request a deviation. Requests should be made at least 24 hours in advance.
