Aaron – The Backbone of Operations
Aaron is the Operations Supervisor responsible for the supervision, evaluation, training and direction of all Dispatchers and Bus Drivers. Aaron has a keen sense of what needs to be done and how to get it done. Aaron began working for CCTA at the kiosk in Burlington several years ago, but his work ethic and general regard for keeping the company focused led to several promotions culminating with a transfer to GMTA where we are blessed to have him.
Donna – The Magnificent Manager
Donna’s responsibilities would be more than a challenge to some, but to her – goals are dreams with deadlines. Donna has worked in transit for 13 years and she handles all program billing, administrative paperwork, oversight of the ride brokering program and supervises GMTA's trip planners.
Jason Stone– The Bus Doctor
Jason is the Lead Mechanic for GMTA and is responsible for keeping the buses operating smoothly, and purring like big cats. He just joined the crew here in Berlin and has been settling in, despite some renovations to his office space. His ability to remain calm and cool amid the disarray proves that he will be able to handle any situation that comes his way.
Kim – The Logistical Wizard
Kim knows how to get the job done. Her trip planning experience dates back well before GMTA was even a thought. She knows hot heads and cold hearts never solved anything and it shows in her professionalism. Always ready to help the next caller, Kim works hard to ensure people get where they need to go.
Bill – The Reinforcement Aficionado
Bill is our Apprentice Mechanic and his support helps fill the gaps nicely. He is primarily focused on detail work that would otherwise be pushed aside. No job is too small, and Bill continuously recognizes what needs to be done.
Al – Mister Dispatch
Al returns to GMTA following his tour of duty supervising dispatch this winter with the Mad Bus. His radio communication with drivers ‘on the street and in the trenches’ keeps them on track, while keeping everyone in the office in touch with the frontlines. Al’s ability to deal with any situation in a calm and professional style is a great asset to providing exceptional bus service to our customers.
Terri – Task Master
Terri comes to GMTA via dispatch this winter with the Mad Bus. She brings her own style of keeping the drivers and office staff in constant contact, which keeps the routes running smoothly. Terri also steps up to the plate to handle the multitude of tasks required of dispatch, from farebox counts, to entering valuable data that show GMTA's performance on the streets.
