BIKES ON THE BUS

All GMTA buses are equipped with easy to use bike racks. Each bike is held securely by a spring-loaded clamp. The bikes don’t touch the bus or other bikes in the rack. There is no extra charge for using the bike racks. You must load and unload your own bike.

GMTA bike racks hold a maximum of two bikes, including children’s bikes. Bike racks are available on a first come, first served basis. Folding bikes are allowed inside the bus provided they can be kept out of the aisle or under the seat. Control of the folding bike must be maintained at all times. Drivers may limit the number of folding bikes allowed on board depending on bus capacity.
